Hell friends i have purchased a new domain..... Its for moving my blog in to it.... Now i have a doubt whether if put it (blog) under blog.domain.com it whether it will create any problem else www.domain.com/blog i mean whether does it affects SEO ranking..... I mean PR,Alexa since most;y now i put only articles in blog.... Later on if i need a forums it will be easy to create under it and will be help full by putting it as forums.domain.com is there any problem in it.... I will put a welcome page in www.domain.com but google will only list blog.domain.com so whether is there is any problem in it.... and one more question Is there any disadvantages in registering a dropped domain....

I was speaking with an old friend of mine who has made a living over the years from making AdSense/Affiliate based websites and had a similar question for him. I was considering making a portal for reviews of EVERYTHING and was thinking if it should be like: auto.allreviews.com games.allreviews.com etc or if it should be like allreviews.com/auto allreviews.com/games and he said that the later was better. I can't recall the exact reason but I think it had to do with it being considered a seperate site (having a sub domain) so it would be harder with SEO. Hope that helped a little if it's not too confusing.
