I am making a website where I want to charge users to download some specific videos... Now my problem is I don't know how to chrage them using this credit card system... Whats the basic principal behind this charging users through credit cards on internet?? I have no idea about this thing... Can anyone suggest me someplace or articles or videos from where I can gain some knowledge regarding this thing????
If you plan to accept Paypal as a payment option, you can always integrate it into your website using the Paypal API. Otherwise, you would need to get an account at an online merchant processor such as Authorize.net. Use google to find other possibilities

Search for payment processing, or merchant account. Best bet for you would probably be paypal or 2checkout, unless you want to go to a bank where you can get a merchant account.
