Need Help. My directory is messing up.

Hi. I have a free link directory (link below). My problem is that somehow I am getting people buying "featured links" without paying me. I am not sure how. Anyone know how to solve this? Or ran into such a problem before??

 

Thats actually normal, they are trying to get one past you.

The other possibility is that maybe theres a problem at your directory, try testing it yourself and see what happens after you submit and reach payment page.

Though its most likely people just hoping you will approve their unpaid featuured submissions.

I get a few featured submissions a week, all unpaid of course.

 

Thanks. I was hoping it was that. The only strange thing is that when I did it myself it said " Pending". The one this guy did said "Approved" already. I never touched it. The test one that someone did from this forum said "Pending" also. Thanks for your answer

 

Hmm, that doesn't sound good.

Have you recently allowed anyone access to your admin (directory) or ftp access or control panel access at your hosting account, has anyone been working on your directory, installing mods or fixing anything for you?

 

I am the only one who has allowed access lately. Others have "helped" me before. I will change all passwords just for the heck of it. Thank you for your advice Pipes.

 

There have been cases in the past where others here have helped someone but have meddled and placed files or set things to the advantage of the person working on the directory.

Yeah stay safe and be selective of who you give access to, i know its not always easy as in many cases its essential that the person helping you has full access in order to help you quickly.

 

this is not a error user redirected to payment page and you receive link after payment you can approve it

 

The one that you sent for PakTech was still pending, but somehow people get it approved without me approving. I changed my passwords, so we'll see if that will do it.
