hello! i really need help monetizing my domain 1uo.com it is a typo of 1up.com and receives at least 30 uniqe (on a very bad day), type ins per day......all these visitors are probably searching for 1up.com which is a portal for "gamers", with news about ps3, and many other consoles and games.... so my question is, how can i monetize this traffic? since i havent got many "traffic" domains i was not approved at parked.com which seems to be the best parking company for my needs, what would you do? shall i develop a site and go with adwords? is there anybody that could help me? thankful for all thoughts on this! thanks in advance! The gaming niche is very low paying. You aren't likely to see more than a couple of cents average from clicks. I think it is really going to depend on what your expectations are from the traffic you are currently getting and whether it makes sense to develop it if you don't intend on promoting it to bring in more traffic.
You could try selling text links on your site using a php link automation script like the one at http://www.selltextlinkads.com - Advertisers can pay you monthly to put their links in the rotation, check it out I use it on several of my sites
