why don't you try all the possible adsense alternatives. Most of them like kontera, tnx, text link ads can be used together.
well I had adbrite and it used to give me a nice 1,2 $ /cpm but recently it really sucks..barely 0,5 $ /cpm(with 1 banner per post x 8 posts,in text ads and a big banner on the top...)
