Need help marketing my domain name appraisal site

I just launched www.appraisemy.name. I am trying to figure out a good way to market this service. Users post their names, and anyone can vote on them using an 11-star rating system that we implemented. My main hook at the moment is the whole, "FREE, UNBIASED APPRAISALS" concept- since most websites offer a professional appraisal for somewhere between $20-$90. Right now I'm going with "Let the market decide your name's value by letting everyone vote !" (as opposed to one person working for a company that charges a fee). Any ideas/ advice would be greatly appreciated? Thanks!

Google ranking would be good to start. AdSense may be considered...

And let people spread the word by putting out a referral contest or something with a (nice) prize, good stimulation

 

But actually give the prize or its either illegal or stupid, people will click on.

Start posting in domain forums with a link to your website in the signature.

 

Thanks dnk- have been doing that- definitely a good target.

 

Be carefull with the prizes. Try to make it a one time deal if you can. I know the first time I ran a contest I had a lot of people joining just for the prizes, and when they got smaller I lost some regular visitors. Maybe start with a small prize.
