Need help making featured content slider work

    Hi, I'm far from being an expert on jQuery in conjunction with WordPress. I have been trying to get a certain featured content slider to work, but I can't seem to understand the instructions (I'm not good with coding language). Would someone be able to help me? The plug-in and steps can be found here:

    Every time I try to upload the plugin, I get the following message (error): "The plugin does not have a valid header."

    What could be the problem?
