I am not asking for a site review but this question seems to fit this category better than others. It was recommended to me that I set all links out to landing pages to open to a new window. It was recommended to me that text links (anchor text that links to another page bee set not to peon to a new window because I was told that when someone goes to a new page by clicking on test links (anchor text), if it opens to a new window it irritates the visor. Is that true or should I make all links open to a new window so the visitor can get back to the original page if they are not interested in the new page?
Opening a new window on a user computer is a big NO NO! Most people, I think, just set their browsers so that it doesn't work. Mine is set so, for sure.

I would rather link to a whole new page so that I will not be distracted. I like the option to click back to my original page easily.
