Hi, my name is Simon North and I run Simnor Computing and a load of little sites which have a small flow of visitors. One of these sites is Help Developer (http://help-developer.com) and I need someone with experience to help in making it bigger. It gets on average 74 unique visitors a day and has 8 unique articles which I wrote. I submitted all articles to directories and the site has had over 12,420 unique visitors and 21,429 page views, okay so not bad for 8 articles. But I need to get people to submit to it. I offer 50% adsense revenue to people who submit their tutorials, they don't even have to be unique, but people don't seem to be submitting. I am looking for someone who can work with me over the next 2 - 3 months in making the site get at least 2000 unique visitors and a minimum of 10 submissions a day. The person who helps me will receive 20% of the adsense revenue generated over the next 2 - 3 months for the help as an incentive to help me (the more adsense revenue the site generates, the more money you get). The person must have experience in article sites that have at least 2000 uniques a day and must be friendly and ready to help and make this a success. I do not have a budget for advertising although I can probably make money available if needed. This is simply help and advice that I am after from an experienced individual. Thanks for your time Simon North --- Message to mods, I have placed this in the general business forum because I thought it was best suited here, if you think it is in the wrong forum could you move it to the right one, thank you.
you are going to have to offer longer revenue sharing than the 2-3 months... Why would someone wanna revenue share while they are creating the traffic, then when it is established the rev share goes away? not good for prospects trying to help you.
OK, how about the person works with me over the next 3 months and receives 20% adsense revenue for 6 months would that be more inviting. Oh and they wouldn't be creating the traffic, they would simply be offering advice on how I can improve it, I will do all the manual work. I am looking for people with experience who can help me on this.
So your looking for people to submit tutorials to your site in which they share revenue with you? Not to bad of an idea especially if you don't really care at this point if there unique. There are so many webmasters out there looking for links to there sites, so maybe the first thing I would do is allow one link to a site that has good relevance on the topic in the article. Then Google "webmaster forums" and tell everyone about it. Your sure to get a lot of junk which you can just throw away but I'm sure you'll get alot of great articles as well. The next thing I would do is Google something along the lines of "article submission lists" and ask the webmaster of the site to add your site to there list. Make sure you label it as "submit articles related to tutorials on web development" or whatever exactly your after. Many webmasters use these lists especially the ones on the first couple of pages of Google. Once again this will only work if you allow links in the articles. Other Than that there are tons of new and experienced webmasters out there that love a little extra revenue so telling everyone about the revenue sharing on all the major and small webmaster boards out there is a great way to get exposure and more links pointing to your site. You have to realize though that people don't really like putting there adsense code all over the net because of the chance of whoever owns the site might do something wrong and they might get banned from adsense. So ensuring your submitters that you are a reputable company like DP and you won't do something stupid is important to getting multiple submitted articles from the same writers. Those are just off the top of my head let me know what you think and I'll see if I can come up with anything else and good luck.
