    hi all

I'm looking for a service that verifies link trades i've done - so it will check that url's link to my site. I hope you a have a free service to recommend, or any script could be nice.

I'm looking for something that will take the load of me verifying that all links to my sites (many many sites) are online.

    Thanks Guys!:p

Or take the url that you want to check if it's indexed, put it in brackets "" and paste into google to see if it comes up.

This is why link exchange is such a pain. I doubt if backlinkwatch will do what you want. For example if we swapped links, just because backlinkwatch does not show your link on my site does not mean it is not there.

Than there are the link exchange scripts that checks if your link is still in the same place it was originally when you exchanged links. Problem is, if the webmaster moves your link to another page or his URL changes, it will indicate your link is not in place when it may of just been moved.

You waste time emailing the webmasters saying, "hey, I still have your link on my site at xxxxxx but I can't find my link on your site, please send me the URL my link is on". Most won't reply.

It can be time consuming and frustrating. The time you spend on trying to track if a site still maintains your link could be spent on doing other marketing efforts. I"m not saying don't swap links, but you would be better off swapping and forgetting about it.
