Need Help Logging out of ftp site (I know - stupid question)

    I'm a SEO guy that can squeak by w/ HTML, CSS, and Javascript - but don't know a whole lot about ftp sites.

    I have a client's site where they gave me the login and PW. I couldn't login on firefox but was able to get a prompt box on IE to login - which worked. Now that I'm logged in, I can't exit out. I closed the browsers, rebooted the PC, and I'm able to get in automatically. But there is no exit.

    Anyone know how I can exit out of this ftp site???

    And now for the second stupid question - would people be able to send the site email or order stuff on it since I'm logged in?

    Geez...this is embarrasing.

    When you leave, the ftp connection is closed.

    Yeah, people can still order/eMail when you are logged in.

    just clear your browser cookies and cache and you will be out :)

    You're probably better off using a dedicated FTP program such as FileZilla.
