So i found a pr 5 edu blog that has do follow blog comments. The comment box has a name field but no website field.
I tried putting <a href="Website.com" title="Keyword"> into the name field but only the keyword should up and no link. I see that other people were able to make a link in the name field. What am I doing wrong?

Its hard to gain links from .edu website through simple blog commenting only. try to have a link exchange to the webmaster of the said .edu website.

try the above format...if the link still not there, then try to change the "input format" ... some blogs have this (such as full html, disable rich text, filtered html, etc). If it still doesn't help, then probably the owner of the web already remove the option <a>

The disabling of the <a> option automatically occurs to one of my EDU blogs after a certain amount of time..so some blog comments have timers where they allow you to leave live links in the comments only for so long. I suppose its an automatic anti-spam feature the admins have in place.
