Well ok here is the deal i didn't know where to post it so just post it here I have 1 forum it's on free host that people who give free IPB 1.3 so i just register there and start forum and now i want to get my own host and put this forum there so do i need to have IPB 1.3 or i can put latest one and uplaod this 1.3 database and then upgrade it please help.. my forum is big and don't want to start all over again ~~ Thank you, Ankur
I would request your DB backup from your host (if they will give it to you). If they don't i would advise writing a script to pull the data so you can archive it for a restore on the new host. then re-store the db backup on your new host when it all propogates
