Need help installing CAPTCHA on CGI forms

I am using several CGI based forms on my site for quite some time. Recently, they are being abused by automated bots.

While looking for ways to protect my forms, I've found a CAPTCHA for PERL script http://bumblebeeware.com/captcha/, but having difficulties to install a working and secure solution (although the demo is working well on my server).

    Any help would be appreciated.

Do you know if "gbcf-v3" can also handle the complicated forms?, not only a simple contact form.
