Need help installing a script

I just bought the bits video script, and I am having problems installing it. If anyone will walk me through setting it up I will be very appreciative. I keep getting the error 404 page. It comes with instructions but It isn't working for me.

have you read the 'Read Me' file?
Usually it's all in there, and then there should be an install file.

Once the script is uploaded you should go to ww*w.yourwebsite.com/install.php

Well that's the usual case, not sure if your script works that way. Try it and let me know.

 

Yes there is a read me file, and after I uploaded it and chmod everything that I was susposed to I went to the www.website/install and thats when I get the 404 error. John

 

ohh... under which root did you upload the script?

Also, try '.php' after the 'install'

Hmmm... that's weird.
Acutally it should work. I should be blablalba/install.php

Not too sure what the error could be.
