Need help increasing traffic to website and increasing sales

I have spend the past few months working really hard on my website and our company is still not getting as much traffic to our site as we want. I have written quite a fair few articles and put some backlinks for people to click to take them directly to our site. But still its not working.Please help

For getting quality traffic, you have to focus on advertising (I sound like a fucking stuck record). Sorry, but just about nothing else will work.

To give you an answer on why you are not selling anything, or at least give you some some ideas, you have to show your site.

 

Hi mcdeere03, I would put your efforts into SEO. Build a lot of backlinks for a keyword you are targeting ( make sure to use anchor text ) and your efforts will be worth it. You will see an increase in traffic right away from people clicking the backlinks you are building. Also you can get some traffic from social bookmarking, but that traffic is pretty useless overall, as they don't click ads and do not buy anything.
