Need help in wordpress

  1. #1
    I have a website from my friend. he needs a light-weight pages for a wordpress website. It includes javascripts and css files. How can we reduce load time and how can i merge style sheet files into one?

    Is this effect in a positive way for SEO? URL is: www.web-n-graphics.com

    Looking for immediate help and answers.

    Use w3 total cache. it will merge your css file as well as reduce the size of your files also.

    W3 Cache en Super Cache are great plugins for that. Also consider loading the javascript as last.

    You can merge te JavaScript files manually at jMerge. Just Google it.
    Or you can use plugins to do that for you. Remember W3 Total cache is not recommended if your Friend is new to all this. You can find tutorials on Web on how to configure it. Recommended plugin is WP Super Cache as m0rris mentioned.

    It may or may not affect your SEO, as Google now uses PageSpeed insights, too.

    If you are hosting wordpress in GoDaddy, don't do it..
