Need help in running JSP files on my Linux hosting

I need to run JSP files on my Linux hosting.
My info is : Linux zeus.theservergroup.info 2.6.18-294.3.1.el5.lve0.6.23 #1 SMP Mon May 31 09:49:25 EDT 2010 x86_64

Apache : Apache/2.2.15
Cpanel / WHM accessible

I need to know how to install support for running JSP files.
I'm very much new to all these so please explain in detail.
I googled but didn't understood where to run command ?

I'm in great need to run JSP files. a help will be appreciated

 

You'll need to install Tomcat (tomcat.apache.org) to serve JSP files.

What should i download in order it to install it on my linux hosting ?
and after i download..how do i install it ?

 

If you don't have a reason for using Tomcat 5.5, I'd recommend the recent version of the 6.0 branch, i.e. Tomcat 6.0.29.

For Linux, you should download apache-tomcat-6.0.29.tar.gz.
