    Hey everyone,

My name is Praveen, blogging at http://geeks4share.com

Now I am using a host - gladiaz.com but now I have planned to move to godaddy.com
So I am transferring my domain from gladiaz to godaddy and going to buy a economy hosting in godaddy.

Now the problem is how can I transfer the wordpress blog without losing any content or data??

I know it's too risky to move, but I have to move because the current host is having little problem.

Can anyone help me out ??

    Thanks
    Praveen

    Hey,

My current server name is "Localhost" and it's different for godaddy, so when I upload the DB in godaddy hosting, there won't be any problem??

Yea mate. I know it's different and it's not localhost.

But my current host name is localhost in gladiaz.com
    Will that difference cause problem?

see after u shift the files you have to change ur database details to ur new db details.. you have to create a db at godaddy restore the sql backup and use that
