Need help in finding what wordpress plugins are these ?

There are some really good sites like say this one -

Now they are using lots of wordpress plugins but I am not able to understand what exactly are there names -

1. Recent Comments being shown on the left hand column
2. How to tag posts and show tag cloud ?
3. How to show archieve in a drop down box of all months ?
4. How to get newsletter functionality ?

6. How to get Top Commentators block ?
7. The box to write comment looks to be customized one or is this a theme dependent or is there any plugin for it too ?

I know these are lot of questions but I want to get the correct name of plugins instead of doing trial and error on my live site. I will try to give backlinks to people who help me as a small token of appreciation
