Genesis or Thesis. I use Genesis the most because you can use it on more than one site without buying a developer option. The tutorial they have to show you how to set the sites up just like their demos are easy to follow.
You should try freelancer.com. You can get just about anything designed. Your better off having a custom design instead of using something that's already out there. You'll have a unique site. You don't want to be like everyone else.

You should choose user-friendly WordPress theme because WordPress themes are search engines friend but there are some themes are not users friendly so you should choose user friend themes. It will be good for your website to get good visitors.
