Need help, I'm off Google - what happened?

I can't find my site in the early results on Google. I was at about 15, and then SEOed the page, ended up at 11.

Now, I see the site when I look for "cinematrailers.net" with the old cached page (before the update).

When I search for "cinema trailers" I have gone from the top of page 2, to nowhere.

What happened? The traffic was coming in from Digital Point topics and Google results and social bookmarking, that's it.

Why did it revert to the old page, and then why did it drop completely? Really need help on this one.

    Site is: www.cinematrailers.net

Google still has the main page of your site indexed. See it for yourself: site:cinematrailers.net

Google index is a live organism, give it a couple of days, months and your pages will start resurfacing in it.

Why did it drop from position 11, all the way down out of the normal pages? I don't get why it dropped.

If your site was new, they have a tendency to rank well for a little while then drop until you have good backlinks.

I agree with live-cms_com. You need to get more inbound links.

Yes this is really common, Build common backlinks to your site and then the site will rank well again.

How long till I get back into the first couple of pages of Google? I am building back links on an ongoing basis.

Maybe a month. I would recommend natural backlinks rather than directory backlinks.
