Dear DP Members I have downloaded a flash script in which am not sure how to change the links, I have downloaded Flash Pro 8 but am not sure where and how to change the links and how to edit rest of the files in it. Would really appreciate any help to customize this script as have to deliver in a couple of days time. What you need to change? photos? text? link? it looks like complete template to me. If you are not careful while editing the script in Flash 8, you will end up messing everything
You DO have the *.fla files right? If so, I can change the links and text for your. PM me with what you're willing to spend...
Hey, did you download the FLA file or just the SWF? If its the FLA you will need to open it with Flash and dependent on what you need to change, if its a photo or text find the movie clip referencing it and double click it to go inside the movie clip and change it from there. If its an actual link, find the bit of text, highlight it and open the actions panel, you should see something like.. on(release) {getURL(www.yourdomain.co.uk)} this differs between actionscript versions. It looks like you have downloaded a whole template and with little flash knowledge you may risk messing everything up. Good Luck
Have never worked with flash so thats why am confused. have installed the adobe flash CS3 Pro however, don't know much how to go about changing the files and variable in this. Just need some help in how to change the links or add new gallaries and how to change the corresponding text .... for the caption and gallaries ...... If someone is willing to help then I can provide you will the full template and you could use it urself too ... while helping me customize mine ... Regards, Tirmizi
