Need Help Hiring - Job Title Question

Hey guys figured I'd post here but I'm trying to hire an employee but am really not sure how to word the job title to make sure I attract the right people.

I am hiring for an "article writer" but this confuses applicants into thinking it is a typical rewrite whats already been published type job. And it isn't.

This job requires extensive research about topics, and then after becoming an Expert in the field, articles are to be written.

How can I word this job so that I express that it is first a "research position to become an expert in a given field".

    Thank you so much!

Don't bother posting at all, just give me the job :p

I would post something along the lines of Extensive Research Writing Position and then just make it very clear that simple rewriting will not be tolerated. Typically you want someone to achieve expert knowledge so that they can form their own opinion about the topic and bring something new to the article, so just include that in the body. Hope that helps.

Have you tried using the progblogger job boards? I have had some good success there in the past.

One thing we did in the past to find writers for the Disabled Shop blog was to hold a writing contest.

A lot of the entries were really good, and of course we could pick the best to be our writers. As we gave people the option of writing the post on their blog, it also brought in some good links to the blog. Some of them have been writing good articles for us for over a year now.
