Need help - Google not ranking

I have two websites for real estate in Sierra Vista Arizona (www.mcnabs.com - www.homesinsouthernaz.com). Both have lots of backlinks and are SPAM free (I think). Both are at the top of Yahoo and MSN because there is vertually no competetion in the real estate market on the internet. For instance, www.azlandman.com has "2" google backlinks and I have "84" and he is listed and I am not.

Is there someting I am doing wrong? Is there anything I could do to help?

I haven't looked at your backlinks, but the one link to azlandman has your keyphrase -- "Sierra Vista" -- in it.

Your landing pages also seem to be fairly wordy, which knocks down your keyword density. You mention "McNabs" a whole lot, so as far as Google is concerned, the mcnabs.com site is about the word "McNabs."

Improve the keyword density somehow on your pages and think about getting a couple of links with good anchor text. The few inbound links I glanced at just said "McNabs" or "Phoenix AZ real estate" with a link to your site -- there's nothing about Sierra Vista AZ."

I don't know what the SE bots do with HTML code, but some theorize that it contributes to page wordiness. If that's true, replacing all of that table code on your site and switching over to external CSS should improve keyword density quite a bit.

I use Net Objects Fusion to build my sites reight now. Is there another WYSIWYG editor that produces better code? I was going to upgrade to the latest version on NOF but they want $200. I think it may be time to change because like you pointed out the code produced may be hindering my sites.

All of the backlinks to www.homesinsouthernaz.com have the words "Sierra Vista" in them. For www.mcnabs.com most have "Phoenix" but I am changing them and all new links have "Sierra Vista" in them. Both of my sites have far more with "Sierra Vista" than the competition.

Well, you could always try http://www.google.com/addurl

It would likely get you in the google database at least (though it may take a while). Other than that, the poster above is right about keyword density, visit the SEO forum.

I am in the database just not ranking very high. I will work on the keyword density and see if that helps.

    Any other ideas?
