Hi Guys, I'm new to this so would really appreciate some help. I just started a website/ salespage selling an ebook through clickbank and the bids were down really low. i was very happy. i then thought that it would be a good idea to add a squeeze page after they have purchased. my keywords have all shot up so much. Does google penalize you for haveing a name squeeze page on your site? Also, with the amount of keywords that i am using i have broken it down into about 25 adgroups. If i created a mini-sales page for each one of these adgroups would that lower the price of my advertising? I'm having real trouble and cant afford to advertise at all. Bids that were 6c have been moved to 40c, some even as high as $1 - $5. Any help in this matter would be greatly revieved. All the best and look forawrd to hearing from you. Snakeskin
Would you mind posting your URL ? It would be really better if we can see your url and then can advice it better
Hi seoindiaweb, This is the site www.diabetes-wonder-solution.com, I have had no luck whatsoever with it and spent a very long time doing research and everything else involved. any help would be great
Hi snakeskin, I just noticed that you registered your domain on 19-Oct-06 So, what all you need to do is build up your content as well as get some relevent quality backlinks, and BE PATIENT. I just looked at your site and found that the homepage is indexed which means your site is not yet banned. Goodluck
Hi Imnajam, how do i build up the content and get good quality backlinks. also my bids were much lower when i first put it onto google? any ideas
Hi Snakeskin Building content would be a case of adding more "relevant word content" to your site, especially your landing page. Google will rank you higher for your keyword phrase if it actually is on your landingpage. If you are using a keyword that isn't there then I'm sure they penalise you by either charging you more to get a higher position or simply drop you down the page (for adwords). Good quality backlinks are when a related site (similar topics or keywords as you) link back to your page. It is beneficial if that is a one-way link as Google seem to be onto the fact that many site simply trade links with eachother. This all takes time. Getting a good CTR (click through rate) on your keywords is the fastest way to get results when it comes to sales. It took me over 2 years to get good organic listings for my site and number 1 keyword phrases on Google for my niche. I did have fast results with adword and that helped my cashflow in the early days.
