have you tried creating an account with clickbank to set up an affiliate program? Its one of the easier ways to go they already have thousands of members on clickbank who would be willing to promote your products, you should give them a try.

Besides Clickbank you could also set up with Paydotcom.com to get affiliates and there are several others. Clicbank probably has the biggest affiliate user base though.

Clickbank is a great affiliate partner. I also like Amazon. They offer less % commission, but they have TONS of items to sell. Clare1956

In my opinion Amazon stinks. I used to sell books with them and they charge outrageous fees so I quit. They also shut down my entire range of A-stores that I had on SEVEN websites without even giving me notice until it was already done. That happened because Colorado changed their tax code and Amazon won't support it, so they instantly closed down ALL CO accounts. There are a couple of other states as well... CT I believe is one of them. I heartily recommend staying away from Amazon. There are a lot of higher paying affiliate programs out there, and as soon as your state implements new online taxation your account will be closed with no warning as well.

There are several other sites, in addition to clickbank and paydotcom, that affiliates use to find products to promote. Just do a google search (the list is extremely extensive).

Good luck with your new venture!

Have I misread this thread as some people seem to think you are looking for affiliate schemes to monetize your site but I read it as you want to set up an affiliate scheme for people to push traffic to your site, which was it that you were looking to do?

If you have a product that you want to sell more of online, there's arguably no better way than to recruit affiliates.

As per my experience if your want to attrach and want more affiliates to promote your business then you can join some affiliate programs forums and make strong reputation on this forum. Also you make the continues new related to your products and offer. Also write some press release like Affiliate benefits and advantages. Also create one blog related to your products and business and continue updates it. Also make link exchange with good website which related to your niche. Continue submit article related to affiliate marketing. Finally If your website having good rank in SERP and high traffic then you have chance to get more and more affiliates
