Need help getting a Wordpress theme owner's copyright from footer!

    Anyone know how to get a copyright code from the footer without messing the theme up? It's a PHP code and I've tried removing it, but it messes with the color on the page.

    if it isnt encypted then it can be taken out, but wouldnt that be illegal?

    It is illegal to decode the encrypted footer file created by the wordpress theme owner. Actually these free wordpress themes have been sponsored. These free themes include the backlinks of the sponsors who paid the theme creator to put their link on the particular wordpress themes.

    A lot of people create wordpress blogs and use free themes on the blogs. Most of them never mind whatever is in the footer. When they use the theme and have a decent traffic or rank it will work as a backlink of the sponsored sites and also sends traffic to the theme sponsor site.
