Hey guys, well first off let me give you some background. I haven't been working on my site for the last 4 months. Then two weeks ago I added 5 new pages, however only one of them is now indexed and that page has no links pointing too it. But the other 4 pages have about 20 links pointing towards them but aren't indexed. Why arent these indexing? THe URL's are...
    Not indexed
    http://halo2and34u.com/airsoft_minigun.aspx
    http://halo2and34u.com/airsoft_claymores.aspx
    http://halo2and34u.com/airsoft_grenades.aspx
    http://halo2and34u.com/desert_eagle_airsoft.aspx

    indexed
    http://halo2and34u.com/airsoft_paintball.aspx
    Thanks

Yes you have to be patient with the search engines. They are indexing and crawling a massive amount of pages. So it may take them a while to get to your pages. They might not have found the 20 backlinks that each of those pages has. It may help to submit a new sitemap to Google Webmaster Tools. Higher quality links may speed up the process too.

The easy way is to have the google toolbar running, then you can eaily see the cache of any pages. If you already have it, just go to any page, then the little arrow next to the PR bar, and it will show you the cached pages.

My suggestion, get away from that asp stuff and go with a content management system (CMS) - such as wordpress. That way you can install a sitemap generator and submit the sitemap to your google webmaster tools. Your site only has 5 or 6 pages, and your worried about getting your pages indexed? Whats going to happen if you get 20, 30, 50, 500 or 1,000 pages?

Look at the big picture and try to plan for the future. I can post an article on my wordpress site and its indexed in less then an hour. But for some reason your pages were not indexed in 2 weeks?

If you do not want to switch to a CMS, find a website that can build you a sitemap. There are several free sites out there that can create a sitemap for you, then you upload the file to your sites index. Log into your google webmaster tools and enter the location of the sitemap. This will help google find the pages on your site.

I agree with ~kev~ about the sitemap generator and maybe the pinging point, but you can have the same if your using asp or any custom made CMS based on ASP.. that's in my opinion though it's not related to the scripting language your website is currently using guys ;)

my site has 150 pages... but i do only have 5 or 6 pages for that section if thats what you mean, before google use to index my new pages overnight, however i stopped working on it so I think it may take a little longer now. I did notice that my new pages were in the supplementary index, so that is why i wasn't finding them. any ideas on why my new pages are in the supplementary? They were not copied from any content, and I think they are okay in length? Any Ideas? Thanks again for answering my questions!
