Hi to all on here. This is my first post. I have adsense on my website and im earning fairly well, yet i feel like im not doing something right so i am asking for some expert advice as I am struggling to understand chanels/placements.
I have a website with serveral categories lets say 10 for arguments sake. Now heres the question:
Do i create new ad code for each section and then create channel to fit 'OR' do i create one ad code lets say 250x250 and then create several channels for each section?

why do you want to have a different 250x250 for each page instead of using the same one with same channel? You want to track each page using a different channel?

Because there are various categories to the site. Ok, turn it around slightly...lets say i have three categories category a,b and c. I want to make these targetable placements to advertisers as they probably will only want to advertise in 1 section. How do i do it?

yes, use same adsense code and only change the channel number in each category, so you can track each one in adsense reports.

Put them all under the one channel and have them as different ad codes. You can only have a max of 200 channels ( 500 if you email them ) and you don't want to waste your channels on same site listings.

One channel per site is OK. If a website having 10 channel, you might need to reconsider when you opt to expand your internet business with more websites.
