Need help from experts about Social Networking script

    Hi

    I have a very busy website with many users and online users
    currently i'm using SocialEngine script which it cannot handle my website has many Mysql and database problem and i'm losing many of my members because of this and my server cannot handle the pressure of the script
    and its not a cheap server, i pay $560/month for the server and it doesn't worth it.

    now i want to convert my website to a better software
    the money is not the problem
    just tell me which software is the BEST social networking script ?
    in PHP language of course.
    the BEST software and i mean in everything, design, software, features and ...

    I vote for Dolphin from Boonex.com
    It's really very nicely developped, has a lot of great features, web 2.0 and best is open source
    you may need to buy a few extensions, but its comes loaded out of the box

    well, I'd never choose boonex dolphin, read this before try it: why I don't like boonex dolphin

    you can check a list of social networks in Hot Scripts, also there're voting and comments for the products. Good Luck.

    meh...oh that guy. Not sure where that person got his info but I disagree with a lot of what he says.

    From my vantage point, this guy does not know what he's doing as it relates to Dolphin as I can debunk all of his points. For example, #6 is a basic newbie mistake. I can only guess that he's worked with Dolphin for more than a few days?

    I've used Dolphin to create www.iParents.com, www.filthyliar.com, www.soccerspace.com, www.e2citizen.com and host of other sites and it's worked well for me.

    Depending on what you want to do, Dolphin might be what you're looking for as it can do a lot as a framework for developers. I think to get the most out of it, you should have some PHP experience. Otherwise you may need to stick to the basic Dolphin functions or buy mods.

    i may also not vote for dolphin because it is also heavy script, but if you are using wordpress, then buddy press is good and light tool.

    Can i know your server specification for which you pay $560/month ? Maybe the server is not good enough.. tell me your sever specs.
