need help formating or rooting my phone

    I had my fon for about a year and a half now. ots a samsung galaxy i5700 and i think ther's a bug with the music player or something. it just keeps going off in the running programs section. no matter how many times i stop the music player still it turns on. how do i fix this or do i really need to root or reformat my phone.

    what is a fon and ots? why don't you return it to the seller and ask for a refund?

    you may use a formatting codes which can be provided by the manufacturer with the IMEI no.

    I hope it's can help you to solve the problem:
    In some cases, you may need your Spica to be rooted in order to install some applications like shootme, my favourite screen capture application. This is just optional, you don’t have to follow this step. I use LkMod v2.5.1 by Leshak that based on EXXJCE firmware to get my Spica rooted and get some additional features like live wallpaper and custom logo while booting my Spica.

    Try to restore your device to its initial factory settings. Make sure to back up your important data first. If that does not solve the problem then have it serviced.
