I'm writing a school paper about online advertisement. What I'm trying to do is compare 4 ads, and rank them accordingly. (1) Fruits Online Send Fruits online. International delivery!! http://www.fruitsonline.com Keywords: Free shipping, delivery, fruits, apples (2)Ali Furniture Shop Tables, Chairs, dishes & Rugs from Middle East http://www.alifurniture.com Keywords: Table, Chair, Dish, Rug, Cup, Glass (3)Party Events Ideas for All Parties Party ideas for all! http://www.partyclownindallas.com/ Keywords: Party clowns (4)Silky Hair Restore silky hair with Yuko System www.hairprocuts.com Keywords: Hair restoration, Yuko system, Silky hair I'm desperate! Can anyone help me figuring them out? Thank you.
This is either a kid in over his head or a clever spammer! Fruity party clowns with restored hair in chairs scare me.
I don't think you've even tried to explain the context of your assignment. How about asking us to critique your work. Perhaps a fail here would be kindest - it would show your teachers that they too have failed as they haven't managed to communicate the key points. Sarah
URL backlinks and indexed pages for each. Keyword and anchor text position for each. That should keep ya busy. search for link: inurl: allinurl: assuming you're gonna use google. Mind you, I'm a coder, not an SE(O) anything.
I can help, or rather, I can give my opinion. First, develop your evaluation criteria. I suggest: Keywords - you are a looking for relevance to what is being sold. For example, Free Shipping is pointless, Yuko System is targetted, Table, Cup, Glass, etc is just naive. Headline - the hardest bit - is the benefit or feature being brought through? For example; Silky Hair is what people are probably hoping for. Ali Furniture Shop tells nothing. Call to action - the two lines under the heading - is there one? Is it compelling? Will is match the keyword and heading (and whats being sold?) "Middle East" - some people see this as positive, others it will promote risk - which you completely need to avoid URL - of less importance, but still has importance. It should reflect whats being sold, but not too niche. partyclownsindallas is too niche imho. OK the URL should "do what it says on the tin" but not so tightly to exclude 99% of browsers. So then what you do is give each ad a score out of 10 for each aspect in my list above. Add them up and hey presto, your rank. So I hope I have helped without actually giving the answer. Good luck!
>>Umbertide Thank you for your advice. I know the question was too broad. That is exactly where I got stuck! (All of those examples are hyperthetical, don't actually exist.) Spring break is alomost over. I'll have to work really hard! Again, thank you for your comment.
