Links building... forum "spamming", word of mouth, articles submission ...

Try all these and you find yourself with some traffic.

BTW, keep working on your site, sooner or later you find MSN or Yahoo sending some pple over. Make sure you got your keywords correct too.

Well , i would say that ur website has earning potential... and once u get traffic u will have high click trough rate.

Well somekind of magazines publish readers recipies. Write a good recipie and send for publication in the magazine... in the bottom of your recipe add a link to ur website... u will get thousands of visitors.

write some good recipes and contribute to online recipe websites with a link...

also try to submit some good recipe to yahoo groups, forums etc.. with a link to ur website at the bottom

    regards
    aditya

And if you are looking for quick inclusion in search engines and quick traffic, then I would suggest that you buy text links on some PR5 and PR6 pages for cheap prices.

Addition: I noticed something wrong on your site. The recipes are text files! You need to maximize the links to your home page and the pages with adsense. So, change the text files to be html files and apply the template you use on all of them.

    Hmm,
LOL,i like the idea of spamming.
thanx guys i'll try out all possible ways to increase traffic.i'll apply the template to all text files.actually i was thinking about adding lots and lots of more international recipes to my site.which is good thing r8?and make all recipes a text file.i guess it's the worst idea now.
i think main problem with my site is its regional and few people are interested
    plz quote my opinion
    plzplzplz....

    Hi Amruth,
You need to do lot of work on your site to increase your adsense revenue.

    few things I noticed

    1. Decrease one ad block from main page and use some Good Keyword rich text to main page explaining at least the theme of your website.

    2. Make Background of Google search as black

    3. Make leader board at top to centre and blend the border color.

    4. Give some discription to links with in the respective category

    5. Shift the Adsense block from down below to top (just below the Heading of that relevant section)

    6. Make your reciepes as HTML page and ad adsense to them so that it makes more sense

these are few try to set up your site first and then go for traffic building measures

    Good Luck

Hi Amrit, NO I don't think so that being regional is a problem :) I too have a pr3 recipe site so i can exchange link with you. :) making .txt file is not a smart idea. keep the files organized and in html format.

The best way to increase your traffic fast is to write well written informative articles that have value for people to read and for other site owners to want to use on their sites.
When writing your articles, DO NOT write it as an advertisement but establish yourself as an expert in the field of whatever niche your in... then in your authors resource box invite the reader to read more about this subject at your site ....

    Hi Amruth,

I agree that you should not have any .txt pages on your site, and that including AdSense on your sub-pages will increase your revenue. You may also want to add more content to your home page - a "mission statement", so to speak - that tells visitors why your site exists, and what they can gain by spending time there.

As with most niche sites, you stand to gain a lot of traffic by word-of-mouth, or "viral" advertising, so give your visitors a reason to tell others about your site, and a reason to come back, as well. Focusing on your visitors will ultimately gain you the most and highest quality traffic. Applying sound SEO will help, as well. :)
