Need help finding the logo space available on my site

Here is the site's link: http://lethalzone.net

I am using MyBB as my forum, and I just created a banner for it. It looked good on my laptop, but I've been told that the logo overlaps for bigger screens. The solution would be to create a banner that fits my logo space exactly.

I could try trial and error, but I want the logo to fit exactly. Any clues?

I'm sorry that I'm new to this, but what is that doing exactly? will it stop my logo from overlapping?

Is there a way to just find my logo space? That way I could just resize my banner to the exact pixels?

It would stop the logo from appearing twice on bigger screens. I use widescreen and this is how I see your site:

If you use the code I've given you your site will look ok on bigger screens. That code stops the logo from appearing twice and fills the extra space with the background-color #333333.

I added the code, but I'm not sure if it's fixed. I pressed ctrl+scrolled down and the logo still shows multiple times.
