I'm not sure if this is what you have in mind or not, but I use a php script called MagicRSS. Basically what I do is search for relevant news RSS feeds and use this script to display them on one page of my site in a way that search engines can read and give credit for the constantly-updated content. For example I have a poker site where I display "poker news" on one page of my site in this fashion. Works like a charm. I also use it to display relevant ebay auctions with my affiliate coded embedded. (Think I made a whopping $8 over the last 3 months doing that.)
