Need help finding an important private conversation in my account.

    Sometime ago I had a very important and informative private conversation with another forum member. I think that I have had four private conversations and total. Only the three most recent ones are showing up. Any advice at all on how I can track down the other private conversation?

    I have a look for things that would set a restrictive timeframe such as, show all in the past two months or so all in the past six months I can't find anything like that.

    Use the "Conversation Display Options" at the bottom of your list of conversations to restrict to conversations with that user.

    If the conversation is too old, they don't exist any longer (after 6 months, they are purged on our end).

    it is probably older than six months. I assumed something like that was the case. Thanks for the help.
