I recently purchased a website that currently has over 4,000 affiliates selling my product (web traffic). The site is successful so far, but there is no tracking system in place where my affiliates can go to monitor clicks, impressions, sales, etc... As you can imagine, I receive quite a few emails each day asking if a tracking system will ever be put into place so that they can see their stats. As of right now, I pay my affiliates accordingly each time I see an order through Paypal--so it's basically run on "the honor system". I don't cheat my affiliates by any means, but I can't blame them for wanting to be able to see clicks/sales stats. They would have no clue if I were to not pay them their commission for the sale (unless they directly referred someone by word of mouth of something). Anyway, I want this changed, because I know it will help boost sales in the long run by making the affiliates feel more comfortable about promoting my product. Is there an easy way to integrate a tracking system into my site where affiliates can view their stats without changing the database that currently holds all 4,000+ affiliates? Any tips or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks, Joe
