Need help estomating worth of domain with many high PR backlinks

Please help me estimate the worth of this domain:

according to Altavista it has about 650 backlinks

SEO spyware glass found 1300+

Many of this do follow links are PR4,5

I'm considering buying this domain, setting up a site keeping the previous topic and using if for linking to another website of mine. This is for SEO purposes only, not traffic,PPC etc..

I'm attaching a few screen shots for the spyware glass and would appreciate your opinions on what i should pay for it (for those who not familiar with this tool, the third column from the left is the PR of the page with the backlink, 4th column, external links of that page, 5th column total links on that page).

if nobody here can tell what the domain is worth, what chance does a newbie like me stand

 

Traffic means more than backlinks, you can have a thousand backlinks, but if they don't give you any traffic, what good are they really?

Also, the niche needs to be pretty tight, I mean, if the site niche is something huge, like cars, you could have a million links and you'll never show up anywhere that means anything!
