i'm brand new to flash files and this is probably simple but i can't figure it out.. i have a banner taht can be found at mustangtraderonline.com (the header banner) and i want to change the text from mustangtraderonline.com to forsalemustang.com. i have both the .fla and .swf files. can someone please point me in the right direction for help. thanks.
Just open the .fla file in Flash and press CONTROL+L to open the library, find the corresponding text, right click and choose edit GRAPHIC SYMBOL it will open the text for you to it. Just SAVE and export SWF file and you are done
thanks for the quick reply.. when i right clicked, i chose the 'edit' option and it brought up the text in the main window but i can't edit it.. i'm not sure now that it is text as it is called 'shape14' and has a type of 'graphic'
Check if that layer is locked or not, if its graphic then you will need to replace it. Let me know if you need help i will do it for FREE
yes i'm lost... it's not locked but i have no idea how to replace it since it is made up of 4 layers... i tried attaching it to this message but it wouldn't let me.. both files can be found at mustangtraderonline.com/images/mustangbanner.swf and mustangtraderonline.com/images/mustangbanner.fla i sure do appreciate your help.. t...
