    Dear friends,

My web directory is not opening since last two days. According to my hosting company there was some internal DNS issue lately. But still I am unable to open it. Now they are saying that it must be a problem with my ISP.

Now I need your help. Please check at your end if its opening or not. Let me know through this forum so that I can show them the proof that almost everyone is facing same problem.

My directory is sabwebdirectory . com

    Your help is highly appreciated.

    Thank you in advance.
    Kreativi.

No, its nothing like getting traffic. Its really not opening here in Karachi or may be with my ISP and I really don't know how do tackle this issue now. Will my hosting company resolve this problem, any idea? I am really very much confused.

Your directory is opening very well from my side too. BTW i am from india. Why don't you call your ISP and let them know of this (must be DNS issue).

    DON.

I have had this issue a time or two where my isp was not connecting with my host for whatever reason. Waiting for a half hour or a quick call to my isp quickly resolved the issue.

you can use www.host-tracker.com for professional monitoring services. They use 68+ nodes from which they ping your domain. I am with them since they launched this excellent service.

I tried with two browsers- Safari and Firefox, and your directory opens fine for me. I think the problem has nothing to do with your host.

You can set IP for your directory domain to 174.132.224.42 in /etc/hosts (on unix/linux systems) or c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts (on windows) and try. It might be a problem with caching nameservers..

Thank you friends for your kind suggestions. Yesterday it was confirmed by my hosting company that the issue was with my ISP. Website is now working fine here too but it was down for last 3 days.

Also, please let me know the procedure to close this thread if possible.
