My friend wants to improve http://www.bhi-us.org/ and give it a better look. Please let me know if you have good ideas to make this site rock. One of the improvements required is for the site to load faster. Let me know your fees for such a project.
well it definately is slow. Try having your site on a faster server. The look isn't that bad although it does look kind of amateurish. So just try getting a more professional theme (maybe pay for one?)

Okay, they're using a cheap trick for hosting. A frame of a website of a frame. You realize that this creates 3 versions of your site out there http://web.mac.com/pczambrano/Site/Home.html http://www.beaconhumanitarianinternational.org/ http://www.bhi-us.org/ This is not doing anything for your friend's site except hurting it. You should invest in some decent shared hosting for $5/month at hostgator or godadddy or something. And get it down to just one version of the site. I would also recommend using a CMS system like WordPress because it is simple and easy to use. You can find many good templates for free to help improve the look of your site and the content will be easy to manage and add to. You could look at Drupal or Joomla, but just know the learning curve is a little steeper on those. Good luck.
