Need help controlling embedded .swf's

When I embed a .mov file (using the <object> tag) I can add this parameter:

<param name="controller" value="true">

Is there an equivelent when embedding a flash animation? I want the user to be able to select play/pause without having to right click it - what is the easiest and quickest way of doing it?

You could add the play/pause buttons inside the flash.
