Need help choosing a stable and quality hosting

I run a auction site and a subdomain with vbulletin. It's getting to one point that I experience server down time every single hour!

I am running on GridServer from mediatemple. (17/month)

I'd like to purchase a more stable and reliable hosting space for max 50/month. It doesn't have to be vps or ds, just something that's 100% reliable!

Please don't recommend your reseller host to me. It's useless.

I am looking into these right now.

Thank you for every and any suggestions or review.

Thanks for the reply slaydragon.but it seems that for 6.95, I can't expect too much from them. I am looking for a more quality service. Not reseller, not vps, not dedicated, but a 100% stable hosting service.

Anyone know any provider that limits the # of users on each server?

You should give more specs on what you need such as bandwidth, space, location etc, but I will make a recommendation, VPSLink.com they are a decent company backed by Spry, they are located in Seattle, WA though, so if that helps you, check them out.
Also, Try hitting up Webhostingtalk and start a thread, they will be a lot more useful then the reply's you would get here.
    Good Luck

I am with Iron Mountain hosting (imountain[dot]com) for the past few months and I am very happy hosting a wordpress blog and a couple of proxies. Here's a post I started in webhostingtalk if you are interested:
    http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=626940

There are quite a few good web hosts around. Webhostingtalk is the best place to shop around really although it could be very confusing with all the offers around. This specific host was recommended to me by a fellow gamer who hosted a game server with them (although they don't do this any more). If you are into FPS gaming then you know what it takes to have a nice gaming server.

    Hope this helps

Just upgrade your Media-Temple hosting to Dedicated-Virtual, $50/month. I personally believe (mt) is the best available.

I have not heard of the two hosts you are talking about. I was originally going to come in here and recommend myself, but I see you aren't interested. ;)

Anyhow, as whynot said, resellerzoom is great if you are looking for a reseller account of some sort. I have used them in the past and they are always stable.

Yes, I also use resellerzoom and they're really great. I didn't notice any downtime and they are really so helpful if you have a problem. I must say that I had some problems with some scripts I installed and they didn't tell me they don't do the support for the scripts, as others would do. They just took the time to look on my scripts and helped me to solve my problems.

Make a test with other web hosting companies, you will see what they say.

So resellerzoom if you want to host several web sites or become a reseller or hostingzoom.com for a "private use". Those are the same company.
