    Hi,

If there is any server admin there who can help me check a dns issue, i would be very thankful, i have been trying to fix an issue which sometimes seems fixed but really isn't.

    Thanks
    Talker.

Try with some specific information. What site, what nameservers and what exact problem. Remember that DNS changes can take a long time to mitigate.

Did you update your server's DNS?

Yes that has been done as well.
I actually moved a server recently and updated the NS ip's at the registrar and the dns entries at the host.

What im facing is the nameservers still pinging to the old ips in some places around the world. Infact one on my backup ISP's still show old IP's.

    Plz help!

Your nameservers aren't responding authoritavely for your domain name. You will need to create an 'A' record at your nameservers for yourdomain.com. and www.yourdomain.com. (note the . at the end).

These were already present but on the managed DNS. I have now created these on the server too. I hope this fixes soon.

In the PM you stated two different IPs for the nameservers. Are these your nameservers, or your hosts?

    I quote you 2 sets of IP's
First ones are the correct new server IP's. Nameservers are currently setup with these IP's.
Second ones are the old server IP's, when i moved the contents of the old server to the new one, i changed all instances of the Old IP's to the new IP's at (a) the domain registrar (b) The managed DNS A records of the host domain. (c) the DNS records of the hosted host domain.

Yes thats the whole point. I have delete the ChildNameServers at my domain registrar and recreated them.
Ill see if that makes any difference.

    Thanks for your support!
