Take it easy, buddy. Relax. That's the first thing you must do. Ok, now, can you access your site via FTP? If so, simply log in to your site via FTP, download the file you edited, undo what you did and reupload it. That should fix it.
That is the problem, I tried finding the file, but to no avail. Can I just upload a fresh 'sidebar' php file? will that erase my categories etc..? And yes, I need to relax
Nope. Uploading a new sidebar.php won't delete your categories (unless you have manually placed them in there). Keep a copy of your old sidebar.php before replacing it.
