Well i'm from nepal and i can't use paypal here ,now i'm using different chinese and indians a/c and being limited since last 2 yrs ,its being like just use and throw a/c for me as i have no use after i reach $500 in a/c. now i would like to get verified but which country a/c to be used i'm confused. so finally i manage to get 2 a/c one from Uk and one from US they are all verified with all correct informations of the a/c holder ( a/c holders are my friends working in UK and US ). They helped me open a/c in their name and give it to me as they don't use . and they are all bank verified a/c not any VCC or other stuffs. now my problem is will i be able to open those verified a/c from another country,i mean from nepal. I haven't tried it yet as i would like to confirm first with you guys. have anyone tried opening their verified a/c from different country. Thankx for reading waiting for some suggestions.
I think you can't open in other country as what others do too.But my friend has Philippine account and he can access his account in the US, California without having problem.
i think they block the account if you use a different IP to login, since the accounts were made using IP's from UK probably if you use the Nepal IP they'll be blocked
The Contractual Agreement that you agreed with Paypal was that you can only log in your Paypal account only from one of the supported country and I believe that Nepal is not a supported country so if you returned to Nepal and try to log in, it may raise a red flag and may get your account limited. https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/UserAgreement/ua/USUA-outside#restricted-policy
Hmm, i didnt know about ip ... I am from Serbia and we are not in PayPal but i have account which i opened with VISA Credit card and i choosed Austria as my country during registration. I use account almoust every day for selling and buying on eBay and if they really check IP then they should close my account. But it is now almost 2 years and it works without problems...
Thankx guys for your suggestion. by the way eddy2099 .Yea nepal is not spported country for receiving payments but we can open an account from nepal now.but can't receive money can only send .this means might be adding CC or US u.k bank account might be no problem. but anyway i really don't understand if you can open and account but can't receive payments why have they included those country who can only send payments ,if we can't receive payments then how do we send payments. This might be that we have to add CC or bank account.
Put it this way, not everyone sells products on Paypal as there are quite a lot more buyers around. If everyone sells and there is no buyers then there is no incentive to sell. Paypal allows you to fund your account through your bank account (in some countries) and like me, I have my credit card attached to my Paypal account so that I can buy things through the platform. Typically, my paypal account will have maintain a $0 balance. Okay, there may be a higher percentage of people on DP who sells but DP does not represent the world at large.
never had problems. my account is netherlands, and im living in costa rica already for last 2 years. still working fine and never blocked because of this.
I've a US based account when i tried to verify it they got me banned so i called them about that they told me you can only access to your account from one country this is just silly cause people are moving ...they told me to open a new account based on the country you move to and ask PP agent to transfer your money I think paypal sucks as hell
Well, they do want to reduce the level of frauds on their system. I mean if someone opens a US account and is not residing in the US then that would be misrepresentation and providing false information. So if they allow you to open in one country and actually be from another than what's there to say the person is really entering real info or fake ones ? There is no big issue is opening a new paypal account in the new country you are in because you will most probably have new credit cards and new bank accounts. I am sure you want to be able to pay and withdraw the money while in the new country. Not all countries supported by Paypal has the same terms and conditions and thus you will need to agree to a new contract compliant in the country which you are in.
