by alternative, I mean alternative to what I have been doing, LOL. I could really use some professional help. I'm getting around 200 a day on a site that focuses on Tech hardware products. My conversion isn't great, I'm at about 1/2%. Yeah, I'd love to get that up to 2-4%, but I'll worry about that later. for now, the 1/2% has been a very strong constant for about a year, so knowing what I do from there, I'd like to see 1,000 uniques a day... targeted of course ideally. I'm spending about $350/month on adsense. Maybe I need to try tweaking it. I've focused on some SEO as well, actually quite a bit, but having a really hard time making headway on that. What else would you suggest for me? Sites that actually process orders need to be marketed differently than those just looking for adsense clicks, IMO... so it's not about just dumping 1,000 people on the site once a day, I need to really find these people. suggestions?
How about a little contest Dustin? How much would it be worth to you, to go to 1% conversion and 1,000 uniques a day? If the "prize money" for achieving it sounds interesting I would attempt to achieve it. Wouldn't cost you even 1 cent in case I would fail, only after the target is met.
I've been wanting to do a contest for a long time, but I'm not sure how to run one compatible with my sites theme. What are your thoughts?
It's all about the "prize money" that gets the attention. Let me rephrase the word "contest" and change it to : "specific offer that gets activated by the sound of the right number" yes you can try contests as well, however I was referring to outsourcing to someone that can handle it all what was mentioned, at zero risk for you. Maybe you misunderstood that because nobody offered it you before to work for you on their own risk and at their own expense? I do that sometimes, as a sport. To stay sharp. Sometimes I get paid, sometimes I don't reach the goal set. But hey, then it's free for the client, and I "eat" the money and time invested. It's called "Guarantee marketing". Not only guaranteeing to refund money in case the client is not happy, but actually not even taking any money until he is
