I am working with a client that wants to take their ecommerce site onto some of the popular comparison shopping sites. I have never done this before and thought some of you might have some advice. Some of the things i would like to know:

    • Recommendations for specific sites?
    • Practices to avoid?
    • Preferred pricing models?

Any advice you guys have would be greatly appreciated, I am total noob to this. thanks in advance.

Google Products is the first one you should try out as it use to be free and I think it still is free. At least you can learn with them before throwing money into anything.

    Good luck.

PriceRunner is good in the UK, as is Kelkoo. In the US, there's PriceGrabber etc - they usually charge per click.

    Try these

    - Shopzilla
    - Shopping.com
    - PriceGrabber

They are all pay per click.

You cant go wrong submitting to them really, but keep an eye on your spending. If you are spending $1000 per month and none of those visitors are converting to sales, or you're only making $1050 in sales, you may need to pull it back or try something else.

    Good Luck :)

Thanks for the feedback. I guess I'll give Google a shot and see where that leads.
