need help asap with a ws domain

Ok guys my friend recently bought a .ws domain from someone in russia and the domain is currently in a russian domain registrar company. We dont know exactly how to reknew this domain because the site is in russian and the language translator tool we tried doesnt help much.

My first question is: is there anyway we can transfer this domain from the russian domain registrar company over to a usa company that accepts ws domains or if that cant be done, is there anyone here that speaks russian that can help show us how to pay for this domain?

Also what is the proper way to call this number in kiev from california?

WS domains, whichever they are registered, cannot be transferred elsewhere I'm afraid.

Find doman name registration company and try to move it. As rule in Russia know english little bit, but not vice versa.

If it's changing whois information then you must wait 60 days, due to ICANN.

 

This is not a problem ...just go to school learn Russian then return to the site and try the FAQ's....LOL so i couldn't resist. maybe your friend could get in touch with the person or company that he bought it from..they must have had some dialogue. ...and what is this about a .ws can't be moved? is that true????

Ummm, why are you calling Kiev if it's a Russian Company?

 

WS domains - once you register, you are stucked with that specific register and cannot move the domain. DrXYZ also mentioned that above but seems like no one bothers to read through the comments
